How do I log in to my college email?
When starting out, it is easy to get overwhelmed with all the information you need to know. One way to get organized is to log in to your email early and check it often for updates from the school and from your instructors. But where do you go to find your email?
After clicking on to the "mySCC Account" link at the top of the Shawnee College website, you will log in via your SCC email. This will take you to the SCC account landing page. From here you can access your email by clicking the Gmail login link.
The easiest way to get to all SCC online resources is usually to start from the Shawnee College Homepage.
Your email can also be accessed from within mySCC. You'll see a link in the "Employee Apps" card.
Because you've already logged in to the mySCC account with your email credentials, once you click on one of these email links, you should automatically be taken to your email homepage. You should not have to re-log in.
On the email log in screen, once you've entered your email address in, you'll be asked for your password. After entering your password, click next to log in.
You should now be logged in to your email inbox. Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with its layout.
Because your email is Gmail, you can log in to your email from any Google email log in page. Try typing "gmail" into Google. The Gmail log in page should be the first result.
Instead of going to the SCC homepage, try typing mail.google.com into your browser's address bar. This will take you directly to a gmail log in page.
